Olio in Groton

The atmosphere and service were exceptional and the food was absolutely phenomenal!!! It was so great we made another reservation for next week. I highly recommend!!

Let me start by saying, my husband works in the restaurant industry and going out to eat with him can be painful. Olio is a restaurant we visit a few times a year, and it has become our anniversary dinner restaurant. Their stuffed chicken dish is so good that we always know at least one of us is placing that order. We then argue over whether or not to order a new dish, and if we are willing to share! This is a restaurant where you do not want to pass up their special menu. It always surprises us. From dumplings, to seafood, to avocado icecream, we have tried some interesting dishes here and have rarely been disappointed. It didn't hurt that our most recent anniversary visit (8/30) we had the patio to ourselves (inside is always busy! Good sign!), and a firecracker of a waitress. Keep it up Olio.

I recently celebrated my retirement here at Olio's restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was superb. DeeDee (or DiDi) our waitperson was right there when needed and always jovial and ready to fulfill our requests for food and drink. She definitely added to the pleasant atmosphere of the evening. Our patio setting which occupied our festive party was the perfect setting for the occasion. I highly recommended Olio's restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal with wonderful waitstaff.

5 Star experience!!!!! We went to Olio because of the great reviews and they were spot on. From entering to ordering an appetizer our server, Alana knew exactly what to recommend. She’s great. Actually we started with the shrimp appetizer and stuffed avocado and both were delicious. Then we ordered the Lobster linguine with asparagus, scallops & shrimp. It was al dentè. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend Olio Restaurant & Bar!

Went for birthday lunch. Had clam chowder, cesear salad, calamari and creme brulee. It was all fabulous! Plus I got a $10 gift card for coming on my birthday to use later.

When was the large group and the appetizers were great. They have a very well-balanced and dynamic menu. Would highly recommend the calamari, and the spring roll appetizers, as well as their lava cake dessert. Also their complimentary bread was delicious. Unfortunately, it took a very long time for the meal to come out, and the breaded stuffed chicken was a bit more burned on the outside than I would like.

Coming from Chicago so we were craving Fried Zucchini with Ranch Sauce! We called Olio thinking they had it in their Menu, they did not but that didn't stop them from Satisfying their Customers! They offered to make us our Favorite Appetizer and it was done in no time! We are so thankful!

Wow. I've wanted to check this place out for a long time. Tonight we finally had the chance. Food was fantastic. You know when the service is so good you just have to say something? The food here is amazing, and our servers were great and very attentive. We had the beef bruschetta appetizer, oh wow! It was so yummy, my husband said he may order 3 of those alone for dinner next time! We'll definitely be returning soon.

Visited for a business lunch, place was relatively but not overly packed. Beer selection was good. Food was definitely seafood biased but everyone should find something for themselves. The dishes were definitely on the creative side such as sushi burrito and other interesting thing.They have a bar and couple of TVs

Had an excellent experience here. Food was top notch to celebrate my daughters birthday then they surprised her with a gift card. Now that's customer service!!

Our valentine save. We waited over 1 1/2 hrs at another restaurant to be told they lost our order and we had reservations. We left very upset and found Olio. They heard our story took us in and it was fantastic. We are ayd at the bar and it was the best. Thank you.

Very good food but pricey. Big portions though. The kitchen was extremely slow as was the service. 3 hours for dinner is way too long.

Outstanding food, service, on a par with DC or NYC but casual. Definitely try.

Never disappoints, great local spot, nice menu. I stop for lunch almost every time I am in the area. Great salads and apps. Nice selection of main courses. Good service
